Many congratulations to Illithia who, only a year after taking up Pony Club triathlon, won her event at South Devon Moorland last weekend. Lying second after the shoot and the run, she pulled out a personal best in the swim to finish in first place and help her team gain a second in the team event. Well done, Illithia! It is good to see your hard work in training is paying off.
Congratulations too to the much more experienced Lamorna, who was competing at the same meet but in a different section and who also achieved a first place.
Meanwhile, back in Tavistock we had four members in the Tavistock Sportiva Triathlon, all of whom went home with a medal.
