Devon Sprints and Developments

What? Two weekends of competition at the Life Centre, organised by Devon County especially for developing swimmers.

Sprints:	50m of each of the four strokes. Swimmers MUST enter all four events
Developments:	conventional gala programme, events from 100m to 1500m

When? Sprints – Sun 7th June. Developments – Sat 6th, Sat 13th and Sun 14th June.

Who? Suitable for everyone except swimmers of Regional standard or above. Suitable for those who have not competed before. Minimum age: 9 on June 14th (for longer events – i.e. 400m+ – must be 11 by the end of the year).

Swim England membership level? You will need to have Swim England Club Compete membership to enter. Upgrading from Club Train costs £28.50 and covers the rest of 2026. It is a very simple process: just ask Caroline or Mel and they will do it for you.

How do I enter? It is not yet open for entry. When it is, this is what you’ll do:

• Log-in to Club Organiser www.cluborganiser.co.uk or “Club Login” on top RH corner of www.tavsc.co.uk
• Scroll down to below the calendar
• Look under “Fixtures/Galas you may be eligible to enter”
• Click on the “Enter Now” button by “Devon Sprints” or “Devon Developments”
• Tick the events you’d like to do. For the Sprints, you must tick all four entries
• Payment will be by direct debit via GoCardless. Mel will email you about this – ignore any messages the system sends you shortly after you’ve entered.
