Welfare
Tavistock Swimming Club aims to provide an environment in which everyone can enjoy their swimming while working to achieve their goals. If you are worried or unhappy about anything to do with the club, the Welfare Officer (Sue Dunstan) is here to help. She will be very happy to discuss any welfare concerns, no matter how big or small. You can contact her by email on taviswimclubwelfare@gmail.com or children can ask any adult they trust at the club to take a message to her. Anything said to her will be kept confidential and only shared with your agreement or with people who need to know in order to protect the child/ children concerned.
Tavistock Swimming Club adopts Wavepower, the book of Swim England Child Safeguarding Policies and Procedures. A copy of Wavepower, together with more Swim England information about safeguarding, including contacts and how to report a concern, can be found via the buttons below.
If you are under 19, Childline is another possible source of support. They have trained counsellors and you can talk to them about any issue you are going through, big or small. You can chat online or on the phone: childline.org.uk and 0800 1111.
