To Adrenalin Quarry in Cornwall last weekend for some out of the pool fun and our annual presentations. The rain was so heavy that those who chose to spectate rather than swim got every bit as wet as those who went in but everyone seemed to have a great time.
Afterwards, some snacks organised by one of the committee members – including homebaked cookies for all – and trophy presentations. Pictured are Jasper, who won the John Reed Memorial Award for the best newcomer, and Charlotte, who won “best overall swimmer” in recognition of a superb season with multiple medal breaking swims and a spot on the world podium when, on her first ever international outing, she won silver in her age group in the World Aquathlon Championships in June.
