Devon Interclub Team Gala

What? A team gala. You tell us whether you are available and want to take part; the coaches choose the team and who will do what. Highly recommended!
When? Sat 10th January 2026. Anticipated start time c. 12noon.
Where? Plymouth Life Centre
Cost? Free! However, you will need to have Club Compete, rather than Club Train Swim England membership for 2026. This costs £51 (Club Train is £22.50 – not £21.50 as I erroneously wrote in an email).
Closing date? Friday 26th December, to give the coaches time to choose the teams.
Programme of events
Here’s the programme but remember, it is the coaches who decide who does what. One person from each team swims each event. As you can see, the distances are short!
General info
Who? Everyone is welcome to sign up. We can’t promise we’ll use you, but we’ll try.
Duration? Fairly short – just the Saturday afternoon. No hanging around for multiple sessions.
How do I sign-up?

- OR:
- Log-in to Club Organiser www.cluborganiser.co.uk or “Club Login” on top RH corner of www.tavsc.co.uk
- Scroll down to below the calendar to the “Club Invitations” section
- Click “Yes”
- Parents with more than one swimmer: please make sure you are replying for the right person. You’ll get several emails (one for each swimmer, I think). If it isn’t clear which is for which child, please reply via Club Organiser. You move between swimmers in your family via the drop down menu in the top R. If in doubt, please email me on taviswimclubcompetitions@gmail.com.

Concerns about whether to sign up? Sign up, then talk to your coach. They won’t ask anyone to swim anything which isn’t suitable for them.
Not sure how to sign up? Ask Caroline (taviswimclubcompetitions@gmail.com) or anyone sitting in the cafe who looks as though they might have done it before.
